Owner-operated, which matters more than it sounds
Journey Home Services LLC is run by Tanner Regennitter, out of Rome. When you call, you are talking to the person who will be doing the job, not a dispatcher passing your description to somebody who hears it third-hand.
For repair work that turns out to be different from what it looked like, that matters. The person quoting is the person who will find the rot going further than the stain, and the person who has to tell you about it. There is no gap between the estimate and the work for information to fall through.
The kind of work this is
The jobs that come in are mostly small and highly varied: a door, a patch, a faucet, a gutter, a soft board on a deck. Individually none of them justifies a specialist's service call. Collectively they are what actually needs doing in most houses.
That is a deliberate niche rather than a fallback. Rome has plenty of specialists, search for almost any single trade here and you'll find someone who does only that. What is harder to find is one competent person for the ten jobs on the list, who will also tell you which of them isn't his to do.
How we talk about price
A list of ten small jobs is not a line item, so there is no flat rate for it. Every quote comes after we have seen what is actually involved. What we can tell you up front is what moves the number: how many items, what has to be matched, and what is behind the wall.
